Ellington, the IntyBASIC Music Notation composition tool, has been in-use by Intv Prime for several years. What began as a way to import music from 01craft for The Minstrel’s Legend grew into a general-purpose tool. During the tool’s journey, it was determined that it couldn’t evolve and be truly useful.
While Ellington will stay internal to Intv Prime, the best code bits will migrate to a new tool, tentatively called Basie, that will use the best bits from Ellington as well as features from Arnauld’s Intellivision music platform.
