To make the music an integral part of the game, and make it easy for the composers at 01craft to develop rich scores, we developed “Ellington”. The internal tool is revised as the needs of 01craft grow.
We have just completed another round, and we have just gone through another update cycle for Ellington, this time making it easier to develop music in the “2/5” style, where the music sounds good with two voices in the intrinsic AY-3-8910 audio chip on the Intellivision, but sounds great when the additional AY chip from the ECS is included!
